SSVP Get ‑ Together – 24th January 2026 – A Day to Remember

The SSVP family came together last Saturday for a joyful celebration filled with prayer, fellowship, and service. We thank God for His help in all that we hoped to achieve, and for the wholehearted participation of every member.
Fr. Rocklin D’Costa led the Eucharistic celebration with a meaningful liturgy, enriched by a touching homily from Deacon Nion Colaco. The choir, hymns, and music were beautifully coordinated, lifting hearts in prayer.
The corridor function was lively and well attended. Jenny and Daila coordinated engaging games, with spot prizes adding to the
excitement. Music brought the gathering to life, with Joe adding joy through his songs. Beneficiaries joined in wholeheartedly, making the celebration complete.
A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors—for water, flowers, gifts, and ice cream. May God bless you abundantly.
Nazareth, our President, ensured that snacks, tea, and lunch were well organized. The caterers prepared a delicious meal that everyone enjoyed.
Special thanks to those SSVP members who attended the preparatory meetings on 7th, 14th, and 21st January. These gatherings shaped the decisions that made the event so successful. Gratitude also to the Holy Trinity Church Fabrica and
Vijay for coordinating sound inside and outside the church.
This joyful gathering was made possible and special by the presence of our beneficiaries, benefactors, members, friends, area council members, and invitees, whose participation reflected the true spirit of St. Vincent de Paul. With his intercession, this day was truly blessed—a celebration of faith, fellowship, and service.
All is well that ends well—it was indeed a day to remember.
