The first meeting of the Deanery Pastoral Council for the Pastoral Year 2025–2026 was held on Monday, 7th July 2025, at 5:45 p.m. at St. Lawrence Church, Sinquerim, Goa. The gathering began with evening snacks and tea/coffee served to all attendees.
The agenda commenced with an opening prayer led by the Nerul Parish, followed by a welcome and introduction by the Dean, Fr. Olavo. The meeting included the presentation of reports, review of the previous meeting’s minutes, and discussion on various deanery matters.
A Bible-themed telephone game was organized by the Sinquerim Parish, adding a fun and interactive element to the session.
Each parish report was read out by the respective PPC secretaries, and upcoming parish activities were submitted in hard copy. The date for the next meeting was announced, and birthday wishes were sung for members celebrating their birthdays.
The meeting concluded with a thanksgiving and closing prayer led by the Saligao Parish. As the meeting extended into the evening, Sinquerim Parish generously hosted dinner for all participants.
