On Sunday, 3rd August, the parishioners of Holy Trinity Church came together in a spirit of joy and gratitude to celebrate Pastor’s Day.
During the homily, Fr. Rocklin invited the catechism children to lead the congregation in singing the beloved hymn, “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus… no turning back, no turning back.” He shared the inspiring story behind the hymn, reminding all present of the importance of remaining faithful to our commitments and standing firm in truth and righteousness.
Following Communion, the parish offered a heartfelt token of appreciation to Fr. Rocklin—a card filled with messages of gratitude for his many years of dedicated service, especially his deep connection with the children of the parish.
As part of the day’s celebrations, students from Classes X and XII who had scored above 75% in their board examinations were felicitated. Having submitted their mark sheets in advance, these students were awarded scholarships in recognition of their hard work and academic achievement. This generous initiative was sponsored by Mr. Valerian Nazareth, whose contribution was warmly acknowledged by the community. Fr. Rocklin praised the gesture and encouraged others to support such meaningful causes in the future.
