Today, 15th February 2026, marked the joyful conclusion of our Catechetical Year with a well-organized and vibrant Annual Day celebration.
Mrs. Eliza D’Souza, our esteemed Chief Guest, who has faithfully served our parish for many years as a catechist, graced the occasion. Known for her humility and disciplined nature, her presence added great meaning to the evening. She was accompanied by Fr. Rocklin D’Costa and Deacon Nion Colaco.
Children from the various catechism classes, under the guidance of their teachers, beautifully showcased their talents through lively dances, melodious songs and meaningful skits. The programme was confidently compered by four young catechism students, making the event even more special.
The “Mom Chefs,” efficiently run by the mothers of catechism children, managed the canteen with great enthusiasm.
Students were felicitated for their good behavior and regular attendance.
In his address, Fr. Rocklin encouraged parents to ensure that their children attend catechism regularly so that they remain rooted in faith and always find a true friend in Jesus.
With spot prizes adding excitement throughout the evening, both children and parents enjoyed a memorable and grace-filled celebration. Mrs. Annie Fernandes read out the catechetical year report and the evening ended on a thankful note with the vote of thanks by catechist president Libby D’Souza.
