A Vocation camp was organized by the Saligao seminary on 16th through 18th October. It was attended by 100 participants from North & Central Goa and 200 from South Goa. It was an overnight camp and meant for altar servers who are inclined towards serving God and His people.
Below were some on the ground rules:
Dear Altar Servers,
As you prepare for the Vocation Camp at Saligao Seminary, please note the following:
1. What to Bring:
- Rosary – for daily prayers.
- Water bottle – stay hydrated.
- Game dress – for sports/recreation.
- Bedsheet, towel & toiletries – for the overnight stay.
2. Spiritual Preparation:
- There will be a Eucharistic celebration, so come prepared spiritually.
3. Important Notes:
- The camp is overnight and ends the next day.
- Avoid gadgets, jewelry, and money.
- Mobile phones are discouraged.
- Be punctual and participate in all sessions.
4. Transport:
- Transport provided – contact your parish priest for details.
5. Conduct:
- Represent your parish with humility and enthusiasm.
- Show respect to everyone.
- Follow instructions from leaders.
